In terms of tree planting, this province is one of the most important provinces in the country in the production of dates and is the most important tomato cultivation center out of season. Also, limited and small citrus orchards are scattered. Dashtestan and Tangestan have won first and second place in the province in terms of annual production of dates and citrus. The production of dates is about eighty thousand tons and the production of citrus is about ten thousand tons.
Its most important crops are wheat and barley and blue and rainfed tobacco, tobacco, onions, sesame, vegetables, summer crops and forage crops.
Fishing and shrimp are one of the most important economic activities of the people of this province.
Breeding goats, sheep, cattle, camels and poultry in the province is relatively prosperous.
Bushehr province is one of the most important camel breeding centers in Iran due to its climate, and about 3,000 camels are registered in it, which is present in most of its areas and is traditionally maintained. All camels in Bushehr province are of the same mountain type, and there are four breeds of plains (Zaba), Turkish, Arabic, and mixed breeds in the province. Dashti breed is one of the most important camel breeds in the province and one of the best woolen breeds in the country. Ababafi Industry in Bushehr Province has been one of the camel-dependent industries and currently a limited number of workshops in Kordvan village of Dashti city are engaged in the production of cloak fabrics.
The most important ports of the province include Bushehr port, Genaveh port, Deylam port, Rig port, Dir port, Kangan port, Nakhl Taghi port, Assaluyeh port. Bushehr port has 7 piers with a length of more than 1170 meters, reception capacity The 15,000-ton ship carries more than 3 million tons of cargo a year. The port has an area of 37,000 square meters of covered warehouse. The Valfajr passenger wharf also handles cargo and passenger traffic between the province and the Gulf states.
